Option A – Capoeira Performance to CD
The performance commences with live Brazilian drumming to create an exciting and exotic carnival atmosphere. This is followed by a high energy display of Capoeira (to CD compilation), showcasing fantastic acrobatics and martial art movements specific to this unique art form. Crowd participation is encouraged as part of our demonstration. The performance concludes with another display of the drums with a limbo* competition, requiring audience participation (prize giveaways provided by your organization - optional).
A minimum of four (4) performers is required.

Option B- Capoeira Performance to Live Drums
The performance commences with live Brazilian drumming to create an exciting and exotic carnival atmosphere. During the drumming there is a high energy display of Capoeira showcasing fantastic acrobatics and martial art movements specific to this unique art form. Crowd participation is encouraged as part of our demonstration. The performance concludes with another display of the drums with a limbo* competition, requiring audience participation (prize giveaways provided by your organization – optional).
A minimum of eight (6) performers is required.

This is an excellent package to suit Parties offering you a complete Brazilian Show!

The opening number will be girls dressed with Brazilian Carnival Costumes to CD compilation. The lambada and salsa dances will be performed by guys and girls to a fast, exotic latino CD compilation. This is followed by a lambada competition requiring audience participation (prize giveaways provided by your organization - optional).
A high energy Capoeira display to CD compilation show casing fantastic acrobatics and martial art movements specific to this unique art form. Crowd participation is encouraged as part of our demonstration. The performance concludes with a display of the Brazilian drums and Samba dancing in full Carnival Costumes.
A minimum of eight (8) performers is required.

Package 3 >> Capoeira Display & Workshop
Maculele Display & Workshop

The performance is a mix of colorful dance, drumming and singing, as well as remarkable displays of athletic and acrobatic technique. The audience is encouraged to participate in the singing, and have an opportunity to play in the game. A brief history of Capoeira is explained and the audience is introduced to the different elements of the show – the drumming, and the Berimbau – a rhythmical and melodic instrument, the Portuguese language songs and the acrobatics and maneuvers of the game. The dynamic and energetic performance is sure to engage and inspire children and adults alike. It also introduces the audience to a unique aspect of Brazilian culture and its history, making Capoeira relevant to the performing arts as well as cultural studies, PE and HSIE – Human Studies in the Environment.

Capoeira Display & Workshop:
First of all the group will display a high energy Capoeira and acrobatic movements to a CD.
Followed by the Capoeira workshop with different instructors and separated into various groups of students and teachers. This will give you a basic knowledge of the Capoeira and acrobatic movements. Than we will chose a group to perform with us at the end of the workshop.

Maculele Display & Workshop:
The group performs choreographed routines which incorporate dance, acrobatic and percussion skills the folkloric Brazilian dance called (Maculele), to the beat of live Brazilian drumming and a CD. Maculele is dynamic afro-dance with wooden sticks incorporating traditional Brazilian aboriginal culture.
Followed by a Maculele workshop with different instructors and separated into various groups of students and teachers. This will give you a basic knowledge of the Brazilian folkloric dance (Maculele). Than we will chose a group to perform with us at the end of the workshop.
